The Geochemical Atlas of the Itacaiúnas River Basin (BHRI) is an interactive platform designed to provide detailed information on the region’s geochemical composition. The tool enables selective searches for data on the characteristics, behavior, and distribution of 52 elements in soils and stream sediments, as well as 39 elements in surface waters. This initiative is part of the Geochemical Background project for the BHRI, created to better understand the geochemical signature of a strategic area within the Carajás mineral province, recognized for its environmental and economic importance.
GenRefBR is a platform developed under the Brazilian Biodiversity Genomics (GBB) project, dedicated to compiling and providing genomic data on Brazilian species, with a focus on vertebrates. The interactive portal offers information on molecular markers, mitogenomes, and nuclear genomes, enabling detailed analyses and supporting scientific research and conservation strategies. Additionally, it allows data export and the creation of customized databases.
The Carajás Sound Library aims to provide audio recordings of animal species to support inventories, ecological studies, monitoring, and environmental licensing processes. All recordings undergo rigorous curation to ensure quality and reliability, with specimens referenced in recognized scientific collections. Currently, the library includes bat echolocation calls and is designed to expand to other groups such as frogs, insects, and birds.
