Rare, endemic, and threatened plants of the Carajás FLONA

The project investigates the ecological, genetic, and physiological factors that influence the conservation of rare, endemic, and/or threatened plant species in the Carajás National Forest. The aim is to generate scientific knowledge to support licensing, monitoring, management, mitigation, and environmental compensation processes, contributing to the conservation of local flora.

The project integrates ecological, demographic, genetic, and propagation data to assess the risk of species extinction and propose evidence-based conservation strategies.
