With programs and projects dedicated to the development of sustainable solutions for the responsible use of natural resources, the research aims to promote better environmental mitigation and compensation practices, as well as effective ecological restoration actions. The studies include evolutionary biology and ecology, ecological, taxonomic, genetic, and functional characterizations and descriptions of biodiversity, propagation of native plant species, soil quality analyses, and the development of environmental monitoring protocols, including both direct and indirect methods.
