This group conducts research, applies, and proposes concepts and technologies aimed at automating, optimizing, and integrating mining processes from geology and mining to mineral processing and logistics. Typical outputs in this area include vehicles, equipment, instruments, and robots that operate autonomously, via remote control, in assisted mode, or with automation levels that meet the requirements of an intelligent and optimized process chain.
