The proposal aims to generate genetic, genomic, and ecological data to help draw up a management and conservation plan for the microcrustacean Branchinecta ferrolimneta, a species considered a priority by environmental agencies and known to occur in only three locations. The work is based on field approaches, molecular analyses, and ecological modeling, with the aim of expanding knowledge about the genetic diversity, environmental requirements, and geographical distribution of the species.
